In answer, there's a wealth of literature on the subject; among relatively new publications I recommend Emily Rose, 'The murder of William of Norwich' (OUP, 2015). As for novels, I don't know of any dealing specifically with this period, although for slightly later there is Stefan Hyem's 'The Wandering Jew'
